Here's how it works.
Explore historical weather
This is what we call Weather Hopping. Just explore the map and find places that suits your needs.
This is also great resource to check what the weather for your business trip might be.
Weather Hopper also shows you weather forecast - everything is in one place.
Note that not all data is visible using default zoom level - zoom in to see more location.
Search based navigation
Just type in full name or starting letters - Weather Hopper will search our locations database for you.
Weather Hopper is proud to provide huge historical weather database with over 25,000 locations all over the world! We are thankful to our providers for such great work.
Current weather data
Current weather data service is available thanks to Google Weather API. Unfortunatelly not all Weather Hopper locations are available via Google Weather API, for all of those we provide link to alternate weather forecast provider.
We do what we can to provide best quality data, however we cannot avoid defects in data provided by 3rd parties.
If you plan some rocket science use for our data or some other life-critical application we suggest contacting with authorised meteorologist institute for professional data samples.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why most important locations aren't visible in low zoom level? In other words, why Paris is not visible first, without zooming in?
A: Showing most important locations would involve creating some really decent algorithm (which is possible for us) depending on another large database (which we don't have yet). We still do think it's easy enough to type your location in search box or just navigate on map.
We hope you liked Weather Hopper. If you have any suggestion, ideas for new features or how to improve existing ones or you want to report a bug we would be glad to hear from you. Please contact us via:
